Transfer
Order
- You will start your paperwork within 30 days of the firearm arriving at our store front
- Transfers that have not been started within 30 days will be sent back to the company of original purchase
- Your name must be included on the shipping label; or the shipping label must attention transfer, otherwise the package will be rejected and sent back to the sender.
- There is a $10 background check fee + $75 transfer fee for every firearm being shipped to us.
Arrival
Transfers will be processed within 48 hours of receiving them. Even if you receive a delivery confirmation from the courier, this does not guarantee that transfers will be checked-in on the same day. Once checked-in a store employee will notify you.
Pickup
Upon the firearm being checked-in, customers must complete the Federal 4473 form , and a background check. Additionally there is Wisconsin DOJ paperwork for any handgun transfers. Once the background check comes back as approved, then the pickup will occur. 4473s and Wisconsin DOJ paperwork cannot be filled out until the firearm is in the store and checked in. This is required every time a transfer is made
Eagle Sports Range does not accept the following:
- Multiple firearms being transferred at once.
- Melting Point Firearms (i.e. HighPoint)
- Ammunition Transfers
- Any firearm accessories being shipped to Eagle
- We Do Not Accept Transfers For Illinois Residents
If your dealer is in need of our FFL, They must email us a copy of their FFL to info@eaglesportsrange.com first in order for us to send them a copy of our FFL. Your dealer must also include a copy of their FFL inside the package. Along with an invoice with your name, make, model, serial number, your phone number and date of purchase.
